Have you noticed an increasing sense of entitlement among your employees? You wouldn't be the only one, according to Roxanne Calder, who says there are more entitled employees these days than in previous generations.

Much of it is a result of society valuing and encouraging individuality, which has led to people speaking up and asserting their entitlement. Not everyone is entitled, of course. There are many deserving employees, who show appreciation, and are engaged with the team. You need to distinguish the two and have strategies to deal with the behaviours of the entitled ones.
