Running Time: 10:10 Date: 01/10/2014 Accurately measuring lead performance indicators means knowing where to look in the first place. Surveys of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand members have consistently found the topic of lead performance indicators of particular interest to them, according to Bryan Whitefield of Risk Management Partners. Bryan says chartered accountants are considered the owners of the performance reporting process, and boards and CEOs demand that they find indicators in a bid to avoid any ‘surprises’. Every organisation is different, he says, and it’s common for people to measure either too little, too much, or the wrong things all together. These shortcomings are due, in part, to a lack of a framework around reporting, and there’s a prevailing attitude among chartered accountants that some things simply can’t be measured. Bryan offers his recommended framework for building lead performance indicators. Log InSubscribe |
