Date: 01/12/2010 Australia 2010 - the lucky country, so far as the economy's concerned. Looking at the economy's performance in 2010 from his current vantage point overseas, Professor Neville Norman of Melbourne University concludes that Australia has been very fortunate compared to others. While not all sectors are enjoying a return to good times, many economic indicators show how far the recovery has come. Professor Norman says the main pointers for business are that interest rates still have some way to rise, and competition will continue to be intense, so it's no time to relax on marketing and pricing. His verdict on 2010: overall, a terrific year. Log InSubscribe |
